Buya Berlin, a new Japanese Ramen & Izakaya pop up resto is due to open an address over in Kreuzberg for a limited run in the Arabica flagship coffee shop. The joint is a Florida based shop that aims to bring Japanese comfort food into their dining hall. The deal is that they will be doing a showcase menu of ramen, yakitori and gyoza accompanied by some cocktails for one weekend. Whether they intend to continue their Berlin presence into the future and why it was important for them to highlight their Florida origins is unknown. But new comers claiming to introduce novel concepts in town is always risky, considering this type of cuisine has a fairly well documented presence.
